The Sacred Responsibilities of the Priesthood
Under the royal standards of Akurẹ́, an ordained Babaláwo is sworn to:
- Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding everything revealed during Dáfá.
- Prescribe only the exact Ebọ required by the Odù, without artificial additions.
- Uphold exemplary personal character (Ìwà Pẹ̀lẹ́) in all public and private affairs.
- Continuously train younger initiates to ensure unbroken lineage transmission.
