Lineage of Sovereignty

«Dignity is born of Tradition»

Linked to the founding of Akurẹ́ (1150 AD), it affirms that true spiritual authority rests on the unbroken traceability of the lineage.

Uninterrupted Transmission

Ifá manifested
In Succession

In the Akurẹ́ tradition, Ifá is understood as a precise and ancestral discipline. Wisdom only maintains its integrity when transmitted through an unbroken lineage. Under the custody of the Omo Owa nobility, every consultation is an accurate diagnosis and every ritual seeks to restore the natural harmony of the person.

Traditional Authority

Backed by the Council of Elders of Akurẹ́ (Ìwàrẹ̀fà), the Oba is the direct representative of a line of authority that preserves the purity of the original tradition in South America.

The Third King: Òràngún Méjì

While the Oyo/Ifẹ̀ school places Òfún in position 16, the Akurẹ́ tradition places it in position 3 as the 'Grandfather who returned first'. This difference is not regional: it changes the calculation of seniority in every Dáfá and makes the diagnosis more precise.

“The lineage is the bridge that preserves the essence of Ifá through the centuries. Under the custody of the Falodun House, ancestral wisdom reaches South America with absolute fidelity.”

The Founding Guided by Ifá

Akurẹ́, 1150 AD

Prince Omoremilekun (Asodeboyede), grandson of Odùduwà, consulted the oracle before leaving Ile-Ifẹ̀. Ifá indicated he would settle where he hunted an elephant. Upon arriving at the present site of Akurẹ́, the royal beads of his crown broke. He exclaimed "Àkún rẹ!" — and that cry became the name of the city. The lineage was born of an act of Dáfá.
