The Sacred Balance: Orí First, Òrìṣà Second
In the traditional priesthood of Akurẹ́, every consultation and ritual begins with the realization that Orí is the foundation of all spiritual success. The Òrìṣà are consulted to provide specific elemental help:
- ◈When vitality or courage is blocked: Ògún is invoked to cut through obstacles.
- ◈When emotional turmoil or fertility is challenged: Ọ̀ṣun is appeased to restore sweetness and peace.
- ◈When injustice or hesitation paralyzes the mind: Ṣàngó is called to bring clarity and divine power.
